“ Came to hear a local band play on a Friday night. I was pleasantly surprised with the sleek, matte black remodel of the interior. Its beautiful and intimate without being embarrassed by the character inherent in the age of the property. The bar and stage are separated by a pair of glass doors which muffle the sound to the bar area if you need to take a breather from the full force of the music although you shouldnt expect perfect quiet they are just glass after all. Having come for music and dancing, I really appreciated the black and inlaid tile floor. It was smooth enough for dancing without being too slick for novices. Sound dampening panels were hung on the ceiling to give the small space a little better acoustics. ”
